REN
Remember Every Name
REN exists for the protection of children and the preservation of their lives, identities, innocence and futures.
Protect.
Read the mission
The name itself carries part of the message: Child + REN = Children.
REN focuses on three primary areas.
REN LIFE
Protecting life from the womb.
REN LIFE creates awareness around unborn children, vulnerable mothers, pregnancy support, alternatives, organisations assisting women and families, and the protection of human life.
The objective is not simply to speak. It is to connect people facing difficult circumstances with organisations and resources that may actually help them.
REN WALK
Fighting child trafficking and exploitation.
REN WALK focuses on child trafficking, exploitation, missing children and the organisations working directly to locate, protect and rescue victims.
TRE supports and amplifies credible organisations operating within this space, including those conducting investigations, rescue work, prevention initiatives and victim support.
Our first REN WALK is planned for 11 April, with Durban forming part of the initial focus.
TRE also supports organisations such as Lantern Rescue, while continuing to identify credible organisations locally and internationally.
REN WALK is also about prevention.
Parents and communities need to understand how trafficking happens, how grooming begins, what warning signs look like and where suspicious activity should be reported.
REN CODE
Protecting children online.
- Social media
- Gaming
- Online grooming
- Predators
- Fake identities
- Private messaging
- Image exploitation
- Digital manipulation
And the environments children enter every day without necessarily understanding the risks surrounding them.
REN CODE helps parents, guardians and children become more informed about the digital world.
Because protecting children today also means protecting them online.
